Kick-off Spring with a day-trip to Darling Mills Farm, NSW, a specialist grower of award-winning salad, herbs, micro-herbs and edible flowers.
Join Steven Adey on a private tour of his farm, which boasts over 100 varieties of herbs and salad plants and a wide range of edible flowers such as nasturtiums, borage and violets. Steven will talk us through the growing process from seed to harvest, including the different sustainable cultivation methods he employs to produce his range, which is hand-harvested to order for delivery to Sydney’s top restaurants.
Following the farm tour enjoy a lunch showcasing Darling Mills Farms’ produce prepared by Darren Templeman, Executive Chef, O Bar & Dining, who has been sourcing produce from Darling Mills Farm for over 10 years, before heading back to Sydney with foraged ingredients such as Schezuan buttons for an interactive workshop at Archie Rose Distillery, where we will create our own personalised botanical cocktail followed by a private distillery tour.
Straight To The Source takes care of all logistics including round-trip transportation in a private coach from Sydney*, private farm tour and foraging, lunch prepared by Darren Templeman and sous chef Dan Webb, and an interactive workshop, cocktail and private tour at Archie Rose Distillery.
